Short Resume
I 74 years old. I am a social worker and I work till this very day. Throughout the years I treated many people and it became the mission of my life. I have started to paint at the age of 48 after a feminine operation. Since than I am continually learning.
In my works in oil engraving and video art I try to capture the experience of the people I have met along with my own feelings and experience. In a changing world full of events, memories, emotions and sights, I stop and create the reflection of things from the inside out and the outside in.

About the Video Art: Sweetness By Force.
The video art called “Sweetness By Force” is the product of a work process that lasted just over 2022-2023. The vortex of the good life is mixed with feelings of existential anxiety, loss of trust, embarrassment and a desperate hold to values. I am overwhelmed with a terrifying historical understanding of memories of war. Afraid that my world will be drowned in boiling sugar solution. The conjunction between wars and sugar is part of my life. From my mother’s memory about the horrors of the Holocaust to my memories of war experiences. All these are dipped in a boiling sugar solution and transformed into sweet sugar crystals that are supposedly comforting, a momentary grip of strength in the face of great anxiety. I put the “candy” to my mouth and within a few minutes the sweet coating comes off and bitter lump remains in my mouth.

About the picture :Demonstration for releasing ware hostages .
Every Friday afternoon through out the last year and a half people of my village demonstrate to release the hostages from the CHAMAS.
We shall not stop till everybody is home.

About the picture: Flag in front door.
Ever since the second week of the war which started at 7/10/23 I hung the Israeli flag at our front door. The flag was worn-out already five times and the war is still going on.
