HAGIT BEN AMI

Hagit Ben-Ami is a multifaceted Israeli artist, actress, and gallery owner whose work bridges fine art, performance, and community engagement. She is the co-founder and director of Ben Ami Gallery in Tel Aviv, a space known for its commitment to socially conscious exhibitions and interdisciplinary collaboration.​

Hagit studied acting at Tel Aviv University and graduated from the Beit Zvi School of Performing Arts. She holds a BA in non-formal education and is a certified drama and art therapist licensed by Israel’s Ministry of Health. Her artistic training includes eight years of sculpture and stonework, as well as six years of life drawing under Harold Rubin at the Painters’ Association. ​

Hagit Ben-Ami’s work spans sculpture, painting, and installation. Her art often explores themes of identity, memory, and the intersection of personal and collective narratives. She has exhibited widely in Israel and abroad, with solo and group shows that reflect her multidisciplinary approach.​
