DANIELA AIRA

Daniela Aira is an Argentinian-born artist based in Israel, recognized for her contributions to the contemporary art scene. She is affiliated with the Ben Ami Art Gallery in Tel Aviv, where she serves as a partner.

Daniela specializes in painting and drawing, often exploring themes of identity, home, and cultural memory. Her works have been featured in both national and international exhibitions.

Daniela Aira paints intimate portraits and scenes from the lives of her ancestors and family, weaving together stories that span generations. Her works transport viewers to both recent and distant pasts, some reaching as far back as the late 1800s. Drawing inspiration from aged photographs, she revitalizes forgotten moments, infusing them with emotion, light, and color. She currently resides in Maccabim-Re’ut, Israel, and hails from Ceres, Santa Fe, Argentina. Her multicultural background and active involvement in both local and international art scenes contribute to her unique perspective as an artist.
