Alex Av Ganim (b. 1973) work is driven by intuition. It begins with an impulse,

an inner vibration that must be released and expressed. Although Av Ganim does not

have a formal education, he has immersed himself in intense studio practice for the

past ten years. His studio functions as a womb, providing him a safe space to explore

forms of expression and investigate materials, textures, colors, and their possible

connections.
